🗝️ What are my responsibilities when a Study is deleted?
When a Study is deleted, either after the data retention period or upon request, Poocho deletes all Participant-related data collected through the platform, including Screener responses, uploaded files, and Session recordings. Certain system and financial records may be retained only to maintain referential integrity.
Before deletion begins, you will receive advance notification from Poocho so you have time to take any required action. You do not need to track or monitor studies that are automatically deleted.
Once a study is deleted:
- You will no longer receive Participant deletion notifications for that study.
- You must delete or anonymise all personally identifiable information (PII) from any data you have downloaded.
- You may retain fully anonymised research outputs.
- You assume full data controller responsibility for any downloaded data.
